Today, President Ram Nath Kovind visit to Odisha
During his two-day visit to Odisha, India’s President Ram Nath Kovind is unlikely to stay at a luxury hotel.
For security considerations, he is expected to remain in Puri Raj Bhawan during his visit. Earlier, he had made all of his arrangements for his stay at a private hotel.
The flight will leave Delhi at 12.25 p.m. and arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 2.45 p.m., according to the schedule.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is expected to greet President Ram Nath Kovind at the airport today in the presence of Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, Police DG Sunil Bansal, and Governor Ganeshi Lal, according to reports.
Following that, he will land at the Puri Talabania helipad at 3.50 p.m. and proceed to Srimandir for darshan. He’ll be attending a Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Mutt programme. The mutt officials have been told not to postpone rituals in order to avoid a security breach.
Because of President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit, the Srimandir will be closed to the public for darshan from 4 to 6 p.m. on February 19.
